Tank Squads
« on: May 19, 2009, 04:34:05 AM »
I have a friend that enjoys Tanking more than fighting air to air.

I know the Ltars love the crawlers but who else?

Any Rook tankers squads out there? I can't think of one...heheh

I had not even considered tank squads but it sounds different . LTAR's are prominent for that and are good guys too boot even though I fly/GV against them .
Not sure about any others though but I know lots of guys who GV a good portion of their time in the M/A ROX and CAV3 come to mind on the Knights of 77th Gamblers .                       Nutte
Don't be afraid to put it out there , if it gets cut off it'll grow back

I don't think there is an ALL tank squadron here but I do know there are quite a few that split their time between air and ground, just liking tanking more.

Jag, I'm not sure what your in game name is so I can't figure out what squad your with.

77th FS "Gamblers"
Selected Tour: Late War Tour 112
Squad CO: ROX        Number of Members: 25
2600 GV sorties, 39 base takes, 2,450 KILLS 1600 of them in GV's...WTG guys

These guys seem to know how to wk together...even with another squad. Are they Rook?  :lol  ........JK

Belial and The Black Tooth Grin guys definitely have a good crew of GV'ers with lots of experience. 3050 GV kills and 40 bases taken so far. VN  BTG  :aok

I just emailed my bud this link, hopefully he stops by. He's part of our squad but I can tell he's kind of unhappy here. He flys whenever asked but Tanking is his thing. He's also a very good bomber but we don't do much of that either. I believe if you really want to have fun in this game you need to be hanging out with people who share your ideas on what makes for good fun.

I'm trying to help him because he's definitely worth it and genuinely a great guy. He's also a hell of a team player. In fact teamwork means so much to him that he even changed his name to fit our squad. Who ever gets him will find themselves lucky to have him finding all of this to be true.  :salute  :rock

EDIT:  OH btw, Thanks John

The GROUND POUNDERS were the first squad I joined. I had a blast them. I mostly flew air support but still had fun. A great group of loyal guys. Only reason I left is because I wanted to join a furball squad.
