Salute to the midwar 5/19/09
« on: May 20, 2009, 09:52:19 AM »
Last night turned into one of the more fun nights in the Midwar. JG54/The Class acts went in around 9pm-ish EST. we dont stay on the same side so some of us were rook, bishops and knights. as we got in we noticed that the knight carrier for p36 was being hidden off to the lower edge of the map.

using strategy, tactics, cunning and intelligence, we decided to take it back. Tbarone made one run on it with bombers and although made a solid drop, it wasnt enough to put the carrier out of its misery. now of course the bishops were alerted to us and were putting up planes to stop the attack.

we still needed one drop on the carrier to kill it and now a serious defense sheild was put up by alrtforc and weasel and others. to their credit they did a great job trying to protect it. <S> to all of you. going up against the class acts is a tough thing.

now our job was to kill it. we knew where it was and we knew it had a defense shield up at this time. so now tactics come into play. we sent up our best boat killer tbarone, code name viper, in a set of bombers out of 50. he runs NOE to the carrier. jeager1 and wildsau up a set of bombers and a fighter out of 60 and head for 61 and 62 to create a darbar and distract the bishops. jaeger and wilde both manage to get close to 61 before being dispatched by alrtforc and weasel. in doing so we draw their attention away from the carrier.

all the while tbarone is NOE headed for the carrier. he skirts the radar and A5 and manages to evade all opposition. he then climbs up and has a full shot at the carrier. now the carrier had been hit once already and most of the guns were down. the defenders gallantly jump into the carrier trying to defend it from the oncoming onslaught. however all efforts are futile.

tbarone delivers the fatal blow, while being attacked by defenders, and the carrier is dispatched. we now put out the word that the carrier is down and that 36 needs to be taken.

the rooks and knights immediately begin a merciless attack on p36 which is well defended by several bishops. both gv's and A/C are onsite to defend 36. this begins an intense ground war. Not to be left out of the fray, some rooks switch to knights to help even up the numbers.

as a fearsome ground war on 36 progress's, jeager1 ups lancasters from a base to the southeast. with the intent to whack some of the gv's and the port, jeager1 heads into an unknown situation. apon arriving to 36, suddenly the carrier pops up just offshore of 36. jeager1 promptly heads to the carrier. in a blaze of AAA and puffy ack and 5inch shell, jeager1 manages to get the bombload off. losing 2 drones to ack and p38 defenders the last bomber manages to stay up just long enough to witness the destruction of yet another carrier.

now with the carrier down again, the battle intensifies!! defenders from 39 are now coming to 36 to defend, and are attacking 40 at the same time. all bases in the area have radar out and there are planes and fights everywhere. alrtforc and company did their best to defend and to attack 40, however the cunning and tactics of the class acts and the rest of the knights became an insurmountable obstacle.

again the carrier pops and this time Tbarone happens to be in the area with lancasters. all the knits and rooks are fighting for 36 and defending 40. a large GV battle is ensuing on the ground. jeager1 gets in a shore battery and low and behold, theres the enemy carrier. jeager1 proceeds to devastate the carrier, wiping out most of the guns on board. tbarone again nails the carrier and send it to a watery grave. glub glub glub for the 3d time.

again the fight for 36 intensifies and now fighters are everywhere.  jeager1 takes of from the base to the southeast in lancasters to kill some gv. again by the time he gets to 36, the carrier pops. now for the forth time, while under a massive onslaught of fighter, ack, puffy ack, and 5 inch shells, jeager manages to get one more drop on the carrier. Glub, glub, glub and then suddenly the knits come through and 36 is captured.

it was a great fight last night. there was a lot of fun and alot of banter on 200. <S> to alrtforc for having the heart and soul, and good sportsmenship to keep fighting and defending the carriers. The class acts were certainly impressed with your fine attitude. <S> to everyone else that played. it was one of the best nights ive seen in there. keep up the fun.

See Rule #7

If you want to tell us how to play then I will be wanting my $16.03/mo in cash.

We as a squad switch to the lowest numbers side every day. Sometimes a few times a night. Since we all dont come one and switch at the some time sometimes when we scitch one or two are left behind for a bit until the one hour timer is up. If you want to call us cheaters then call HTC. You will not be spewing that crap on the boards or I myself will give HTC a ring.

weren't you guys call yourselves the "of course we cheat" squad a few weeks back?

Question I would ask is "are that the guys in your squad who on the team the rest of you are fighting against providing you with tactical data from their team?   If the answer is No (which I would presume to be the case) then who cares!  just have fun.

We fly low number team. We wait for the time when everyone can switch. Less questions that way.

The only time we change it to 'of course we cheat' is when Ghost66 or one of the other retards call us cheaters for killing him. We do that because we know it makes him blow a gasket and PM VOX us some more crap. Its more of a joke that most of the arena gets. Just like "The Class Acts". The ones that don't are the ones that call us cheaters because they cant fly as good as some of us.

And no when we are on different teams we don't give out info. Hell sometimes we end up fighting each other and don't even know it because we dont say what base we are flying outa on sqd ch.

We fly low number team. We wait for the time when everyone can switch. Less questions that way.

Most of the time we do the same but when we end up on the big side and ENY starts getting out of hand we want to switch ASAP. If that means one person has to wait five or ten minutes they understand.
