Most to least likely, IMO:

1. Il-2 Type 3
2. Yak-3 (N-N markings)
3. Tu-2 or Pe-2

What would I enjoy the most?  Tu-2

What would be the most useful?  Il-2 or Il-10

What do I think is the easiest for HTC and thus most likely?  LaGG-3 or Yak-1

Yeah, need to add a LaGG-3 so the Ki-61 has something that it's competitive with.

Il-2 or Il-10 is my bet. Two engined planes take more time, although I would like to see the Pe-2.

Anyway, where did the news we were getting a VVS plane come from?

I like Jigster's and Ammo's suggestion... a MiG would be really nice (IMO of course, I like A2A)... I'd really like a P39Q in VVS markings too but of course that falls under the dreaded American something er other conspiracy doodad majigy.....

Dowding,

This is where the confirmation of a Russian aircraft came from:

I would bet on the Il2 or Il10 (I hope Il2 because I like guns over bombs and rockets) due to the fact that the armor model is being redone in v1.07.

It should be a much better representation...
