F4U-1C should be a PERK plane

Look, the plane is nicely rendered, beautifully flight modeled, and a balst to fly, but the fact remains is roughly 200 were ever built.  Tghe plane in capable hands can be quite deadly, but the ability to spray and pray remains, or the ever popular dweeb sport of headon rush.  Lets make it a reward to fly this beast.  Perks should be required to fly it.

Tiffy too? It has the same 4X 20mm's.  And its faster.  Spit has the same hispano's, so does the P38L, but only 1.

Not saying it should not be perked, just giving you something to chew on.

Staga is right, do a Chog search on these threads.

BTW,numbers produced has nothing to do with perked planes in AH.

If c-hog was perked or removed many people in AH  might actually get a heart attack and die, so its not in AH best interest to kill c-hog, sadly....

Right, but have you checked the F4U-1C's ammo load lately? It's got double the ammo load for it's 4 cannons than all of the above.

Of course I'd rather have the F4U-1C than end up with one of those awful "easy mode" FMs in the same arena as full realism FMs....
