Memorial Day Salute

Once again, Memorial Day is upon us. I salute all my fellow veterans of all branches... past and present.. and the sacrifices we have made and will make.. and I salute my wife who has been through 3 of my deployments and prepares for my 4th....and on this memorial day I remember:

I'll be spending Memorial Day in Continental uniform a Fort Stanwix, remembering all of them who've died for me in the past 233 years.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Big <S> to the one's that lost their lives in combat. I remeber I was in DC couple years back during memorial day, and I walked down the Vietnam wall.

My oldest son's birthday is May 8th....VE day.

...and youngest is on Valentines Day...

No one forgets B - days around here too easily.

Have a moment of silence then hoist a glass for all those who gave their tomorrows so we could have our todays. Tell a serving Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Airman, Coastie or Vet thanks for serving.
