Turret Orientation

So when you're manning the main gun in a tank....

why isn't there an indication of some sort which shows which way the turret is pointing?

It doesn't have to be spectacular...just an arrow showing where the front of the vehicle is...off in the corner or so.

The same has been added for the ball-turret in the B-17. It might be easily implemented I guess.

I would also like it if aircraft turrets remained where you left them.  Most of the time they seem to be back at the default position when you return to them.

I would like to see the pintel gun position stay were you left it.... When you change guns it gos back to defaut  thats lame....

It does? I thought it just rotated with the turret.
