The OP is an odd question. It would suggest that you go into the fight hating the enemy and only like a few of those you fly against. Personally I go into every fight with respect for my 'enemy', since they're just another player. Unless they do something that ticks me off I go into the fight with 'respect' no matter their flying style.
Just as there are enemy I respect , there are some I feel nothing but contempt for . They by and large fall into one category , the guys who never have anything positive to say . Every time the lose its an excuse , an accusation , or an insult . When the win its a declaration of their incredible skill set a denigration of yours . Win or lose never a <S> a GK a GF . Some times when you lose even if you think it was bogus , class demands you acknowledge the victor . Just as sometimes when you win a man with class will offer words of encouragement , or advice . It is not hard to find something positive , and comment on it . I don't know how you got the idea I go into a fight hating an enemy . I don't hate anybody in game or in RL. Since I seldom know who I am fighting against going into it , the best description is wait and see . The nme I respect show the sportsmanship and class I mention above . The ones I don't the show the negative things above . I mention batfinkv , because while I consider him one of my best friends in the game ,we spend the majority of our time trying to pour shell and shot into each other . When we fight it is never about the kill , but about the fight . He always finds something positive to say ,even in a fight where his opponent has totally screwed up .Always the first to acknowledge that you got him , even if it was a pick at cherry picker lake in the DA .From top to bottom a class act . The trainers because I spend alot of time with them , and have had the good fortune to scrap with all of them out of the TA . No need to describe the skill sets they have .There is no need to describe the way they will make the time while they are "playing" and not "working" to point out mistakes , and give you an atta boy when they see you do something right that you used to do wrong. By and large the improvement being a direct result of their instruction . I notice you didn't name any people that in particular you respect . A big part of the reason I started this thread is because , I am always looking to improve myself as a pilot , and a member of this community . I was hoping to see the names and maybe the things those guys that are mentioned do to rate the respect of their enemy , I may find things in my character to improve on . . I am a side switcher have been since day one in Aces High , there are guys that are not and never have been . When a man earns the respect of people he has never saved never been on their side always a red guy . Well that is a man I can learn from . I am a few days away from my 1st year in AH , so I know I have almost everything to learn .I doubt the learning will ever stop . So as a side switcher there are some things that I can learn from guys that aren't .
