.wingman command extentions
« on: May 28, 2009, 12:43:01 PM »
Hello all,

I'm requesting a wish to modify the .wingman command. I would personally love the addition of not only the wingman command but a ".flightleader or .elementleader" commands to be added. It's quite simple, The .wingman command shows your wingman as white and the flightleader or element leader command could highlight the selected either Yellow or black or whichever color you guys prefer.

That way it would be easy to maintain SA on your wingman as well as your flight leader. Shouldn't be hard at all and I'm pretty sure alot of people would love this addition as well!

Ex.  Flight of 4

2 Flight leads, 1 Group leader
2 wingman

edit: grammar and spelling.

Nice idea.  :aok
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

I like it.

Or be able to have multiple wingmen.  /.wingman1 <player name1> /.wingman2 <player name2> etc...

Excellent Idea!  On missions it is difficult to find the lead pilot on take off, and especially so in bombers.

I don't know how, but would also be helpful to set a delay on mission spawns, to give an auto spacing when rolling missions.  Two reasons:  One, it is very cartoonish to fly through another plane, and two, better recognition of drones.

Thanks Cajunn!  :salute

And i totally agree with you Chilli. It would also benefit for escorting fighters to set the lead bomber as a lead with a command for better visual SA as well as Map reading SA also.
