I should add that I have watched approx. 3 minutes of NHL Hockey in my lifetime outside of highlights on sportscenter so add Hockey to the list of things I know absolutely nothing about.  I am hoping to watch some of this series though.

I think it'll go to game 7! I'm hoping the Pens will win!! What's more exciting that watching the Stanley Cup finals go into game 7!??

The Wings are a tough team to beat, especially in the playoffs, but the Pens having Malkin, Crosby, Fleury, Gonchar, and a bunch of other great players it won't be a cake walk for the Wings.

My eldest daughter will be at Sat and Sundays games somewhere in the first 10 rows.
She says that Crosby will be coming home with her.

Lidstrom is playing, Datsuyk is probable, Erikson is a maybe even after having his appendix removed.
You got to love that about hockey, "stitch me up doc, I'm not missin the finals" you just don't see that in the other "sissy" sports.

Why would she want to bring a whiney crybaby home?

Learning to watch on television takes time. Go to a game and see it live.

Injuries will hurt the wings, but their depth will pay off.

Wings in 7. Game 7 score. 4-3 OT.

You know, I just LOVE how that kid takes so much crap for "crying" still to this day.

Look, it is impossible to retain any credibility as a Penguins fan if you can't admit that Crosby had some MAJOR issues with mouthing off his rookie season.  It seemed like every single time he got a penalty, he'd mouth off and whine so much that he'd end up getting a double-minor for unsportsmanlike conduct to boot.  He certainly earned the nickname, "cindy crysby."

That being said, from the start of his sophomore season, he knocked that right off.  He hasn't acted like a kid since he was 19...  You'd think he's earned a break...  Kids need to learn to grow up, and he entered the league at 18.  What do people expect?

I guess it's a compliment to his amazing abilities that there is so little ammo to use against him that years-old expired fodder keeps being tossed about.

Anyway, the Penguins spotted Detroit two games last year before making it a series.  If they come out caring from the beginning, Detroit is going to have to earn it.
