i started playing the game the other day and received alot of help from players who were very patient with me. So far i like the game very much, especially the large amount of different airplane models along with all the different targets for bombers. The only thing that i dont like is the whole knights vs rooks vs bishops situation. I would much prefer if it was axis vs allies.

Other than that i am really enjoying the game and had some really good dogfights. My favorite plane is probably the F4u1c.

They do have an Axis vs Allies arena called AvA. It isn't very populated most times, so I guess not many share your preference  :D

Yes the AVA (aka Axis vs Allies) runs in spurts. Right now it is in a downturn.

You did well, as I recall when tagging along with JG11, though I must admit, I was slightly creeped out with that Spitfire on my wing.  ;)

hehe that was fun.. we were outnumbered pretty well but we still managed to get some good kills, unfortunately i didnt keep an eye on my fuel and missed out on landing a 4 kill mission

Welcome, Shifty89.  Are you related to the old man Shifty?

Stop into the Axis v. Allies arena.  If there isn't anyone there at the moment, just fly around for five or ten minutes.  Usually someone will come join you in that time.  We'll look forward to seeing you.

Welcome to AH Shifty89. Besides myself you'll run across Shifty25 at times. The only difference between he and I is he can fly.  :D
Try the F4U-1A it'll spank the C model.
I hope you enjoy AHII, and I'm glad to see you here. In my opinion you just can't have too many Shiftys.  :aok
