Data? your kidding right? But so far your the only one that disagreed with me. And yes, I can tell an adult by their voice, "which is why we call squeekers "squeekers".

I'm willing to bet money on this

Those of you using AH as a babysitter for your kids: stop it.  The Department of Children's Welfare should be notified that you are allowing your child to be exposed to such an adult environment.

Those of you saying naughty things: stop it. There are children in the arenas that have parents that use AH as a babysitting service.

Maybe we need a "Minors Arena"? Only those under 18y/o have VOX privilege.

Well?

I'm beginning to think that's a good idea.  Certainly the adults are going out of their way to claim a right to act like teenagers.

Even though I never talk "adult" on range, I do get salty on occasion on the squad vox.  I feel that parents need to know enough about what their kids are doing to decide if the mostly adult environment of AH is ok for their children.  I recommend keeping it clean on range guys if you can.  However if something slips and burns some tender young ears, it can only be their own parents fault for lack of knowledge. :aok

I agree with this post.  I keep it clean on range, not because of kids, but it's just not classy to "f" up a storm to people you don't know.  I am a foul mouth on squad channel however and if any kids find their way there that's his and his parents' problem to solve.  Not mine.  Should everyone quit drinking and cussing in bars too just because a kid "might" have snuck in and is hiding and listening/watching?  I can't think of a worse place for children to hang out than an online game server.  Seriously.  In a different way, that's like turning your kid loose alone at a Philadelphia Eagles game when they are losing.  You wouldn't do that either.

No 13 year old needs to be anywhere near a stoned 40 year old stranger playing in his mother's basement for 10 hours straight with the handle "QuickBong".

i can't even imagine sitting at my computer for only 5 hours straight.....but yet, if you look at some of the times, you see guys flying hundreds of hours a month.........

there's a guy that flew 226 or so hours last tour........that averages out to almost 8 hours a day. WTF???????

how the hell do you sit at a computer for that long??????

Aces High isn't an adult environment. HTC has stated numerous times this game is aimed at a general audience, which would include people of all ages.

Of course, that won't stop you from claiming this is an adult environment any time in the future.

The bar thing isn't a good analogy for a couple of reasons.

1) Kids don't have to sneak into AH arenas because of being underage. HTC has not set an age limit on who can play and who can't.

2) Bars are aimed at an adult audience, this game is aimed at a general audience.

Btw, my 14 year old daughter plays World of Warcraft in her spare time. As long as she has her chores/school work taken care of, there is nothing wrong with it. If she liked Aces High, there would be nothing wrong with her playing that in her spare time either.
