Means a lot, coming from someone who said they would punch someone in the face for calling them straight.
I already did, got suspended for it too. Long Story...

I didn't know there was such a difference across the country. On the East Coast, 'gay' is used a lot more as an insult than 'straight'. Might just be California, though, I guess. Learn new things every day.

I think he's one of the most unique entertainers out there. IMO his music is better than any rapper/entertainer out today. If you actually have listened to his albums - and not judge based on what you 'think' he is and isn't, you'd probably have a little more respect for him as a person and entertainer...   ;)

I have been forced to listen to the 'noise' he puts out, it is awful. I've heard better music from a metal trashcan, full of cats, rolling down a hill.

I'm admittedly biased, I find rap music nauseating to listen to.

Did you hear his stuff, or just listen?

I always wondered how a can of cats sound rolling down a hill would sound.  :lol

Gotta agree with Del here, I've heard plenty of it. The more I hear, the more assured I am about how I feel about that punk. Worse thing is we have a whole generation of young people thinking that this guy is a talented, "unique entertainer". Standards for makin' it big in music in this day and age are pathetically low if this guy is to be considered talented or unique.

Every generation says that about the music the current generation is listening to, like when rock & roll came out the previous generation thought it was just a bunch of noise as well.

Being 29, I would consider myself part of the current generation. Much of what my friends and co-workers (most are around the same age as me) listen to is garbage. Music has had it's ups and downs throughout the centuries, just so happens it's in a very down state right now.

Though I agree with the overall premise, sometimes new music really does just suck. I mean look at disco.
