MAP and altitude...

Ahh. Noticed that the Spitfire and P-51 start losing MAP when the supercharger stops at 11k, then the second stage kicks in 2k higher and it goes back up again. Nice, when do the rest of the planes get this tweak?

Cool! Very nice work I must say!

Fw 190A with BMW 801 engines had a supercharger gear change near 3 km. Before they tweaked the Kommandogerät the increase of power was so violent that it flipped the plane upsside down on testfligt! That would sure be a nasty suprise during dogfight

Not so cool. The F4U also has the MAP dropping at 10k, and returning at 13k, dropping again at 23k, just like the Spitfire and P-51. It doesn't correspond with the planes actual performance though, it appears to be a graphical bug only.

From the README.TXT:

Began working on correct manifold pressure, rpm, and fuel consumption
under cruise conditions.  This will not be finished until the next
full version.

Most planes are not done yet.  This is a real pain to do.

I can only imagine... But extremely great work alltogether, keep going! Small touches like this add good load of immersion to game. If the game gives me an sense of being there, I don't care what kind of plane I fly, I just enjoy the ride.
