'98 Z-51 Black Coupe $9000

Folks;

I have been out of work now since last October.
Registry work as an LPN has not been there .. I have worked 4 days since the beginning of the year.

I have to either sell the Vette or turn it in to the Lender.
Payoff is just under 9k, so I'm askin $9000 or even take over payments (approx $250/mo atm)
..to get out from under it and not have to turn it in.

I have about 30 days.

Details:
1998 Z-51 Black-on-black auto coupe,
lowered a bit, 3.15 gears, B&B bullets, Halibrand rims (stock sizes), T/A's in the back (stickier than stockers)
Tires are good for another coupla years unless you get sideways a lot or burn em up.
124k miles. Doesnt burn any oil, runs 13's out at Speedworld, gets 30mpg or a tad more at 70mph.
Bra on the front to cover up all the dings from daily driving.
Limo tint on the back window, Arizona legal limit tint on sides.

Problems: headlights dont flip up an down anymore, roof panel clearcoat is peeling.
A/C has to be recharged every coupla months.
She's no hangar queen, love to drive her.
I hate like hell to sell, sounds great, looks awesome more or less.. just needs a little TLC that I cant afford atm.

If I had any idea when the retro checks from the state would be coming out, I'd buy it from you today as a retirement present for my father. Unfortunately, the way NY is, I could be getting it any time between next week and next year, and I know you don't want to have to wait.

I talked to an older gent at that car meet who parked a T-bucket next to my ride.  He told me he did offshore work, had been doing it for 38+ years, but hadn't worked since January.  He said the same thing, he put in an app to Hell-mart as a greeter but was told they were on a hiring freeze.

I have 4 people comin over this weekend to look at it.

Already had one gentleman and his son stop by.
I think I scared the *crap* out of him, all he said was 'it's loud' and not much else when we got back.
Yanno.. goin up that freeway on ramp, it really doesn't take long to get to 80mph .. I had to slow down to merge!
Not yer basic trundle car.
Mebbe I should let the new owner find out just how fast it really is.. kinda work his way up to it?

Car sold today to Bob in Tucson,  .. he drove up, was hooked the moment I started it up. He owns a black SS truck -so he's all about how to keep 'em shiny
