Why did the Swedes think it was a good idea to fight for the allies but put a Swastika on a plane we gave them to build? Blond moment maybe?
1) Brewsters were not Swedish planes. They were Finnish Airforce planes assembled in Sweden before they were flown to Finland.
2) Sweden did not fight for Allies or for anyone. They were neutral.
3) USA did not give Brewsters, they sold them.
Finns and Swedes were not nazis. FAF swastika is not a nazi symbol.
