What's new with the gtester's moon?
Sorry I didn't get to answer this, didn't have a working version of Gtester on my machine again until today.

If you go through the sunrise/moonrise and set cycle, you'll see that the moon meshes with the horizon and terrain correctly, while the sun... well, doesn't, especially at altitude.

Might be your video settings, I have reflections of the sun in my cockpit.  Sunset is a pain actually when flying east.

and reflections on the canopy and dials. :D

What I mean is,

In Lock On you can see the reflection of the pilot in the canopy and other glass areas in the bird.
