I am usually wishing for new planes as new enemies to shoot down rather that to fly them myself. E.g. I was very happy when P-39 came, but have never flown it myself :)

I have just started in the 51 for a couple of tours but I can see myself always going up in what I find to be a fun ride, the good ol' jappa known as "Tony"...it's just so much fun.

I fly the 38G mainly because the 80th FS flew the 38 historically.  History is why I play.  If I was in an RAF Hurricane squadron I'd fly Hurricanes.

If thats how I choose to play, I'm not limiting myself, I'm 'flying' the history that interests me.  If someone wants to fly all the planes, so be it.  There is no 'right' way to do it.

CAP its not that you suck in it you have no flying time and when you do get in your learning all over again main thing is are you having fun? sure you are you wouldnt keep flying it

I started with the ponyD then someone told to fly Yak tp help improve aim...  So now I fly pony and yak...  Seafire if off a carrier...

I get hot/cold streaks with different rides, Ill be nay unstoppable for several days, then suddenly I cant buy a kill, switch to a different ride.. BAM back on track.  so I have an "inventory" that I fly, usually 1 ride for 1 week or so..  Jug, yak, G6, 38, P40E, then usually start back at the jug..
