Player-Developed Objects
« on: June 04, 2009, 02:14:19 AM »
I know we''ve had this before, but I'd still love it if folks were allowed to develop 3D objects for AH.

Hell, players do maps now, so there's a precedent.

C'mon AH, you know you want us to.

LOL. On Saturdays, the vulch-fest of the Brits and Euros sitting mesmerized by the (ahem) soccer on the TV would be something to see.

Of course, the war would have the much more important task of 'Capture the Pub'.  No doubt people would be much more willing to defend their pubs than silly bases.

I can see it now...

Instead of "I refuse to destroy the church for religious reasons..."

We'll hear: "I refuse to destroy the pub...come have a frothy one on me..."

 :lol

They should make the drunks go into the pub instead of the maproom.  Would make much more sense.

I certainly do wish we were allowed to submit custom objects for approval.

I pretend that it is a muslim church or some cult church  :D
There are no markings on it that tell you what kind of church it is  :)

Me too, some of you have come up with a lot of cool stuff over the years.  St. Waffles cathedral for example, which I saw screenshots of, but never actually saw used on a map.
To each their pwn.

Muslim church. Genius.

There are maps with custom objects, but they're not used in the MA, apparently because of FR issues. There are SEA maps with custom objects, though.

I tell myself it's full of angry krauts executing babies...

Then again I would be bombing babies... huh?

This reminds me of days gone by when a certain AW player (who shall go nameless) :O :O made just such an argument for "player made skins"

Protect the pub!

That sounds like fun!
Ofcourse we should change our current factories into breweries. Fueltanks will become giant beer-kegs, and, when bombed, you can't up any drunks :D
