Yup...
I've got a tornado warning, never expected to see it in Oregon. xD

Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only
need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

But...
That's all sane and logical... and it's too rainy to go and watch the lightning just yet...  :aok

Same with California but was surprised to learn that California does experience a lot of tornadoes.  In 1998, California had more tornadoes in a 6 month period than any other state.  In 1996, Fresno County recorded the most tornadoes than any othe county in the Union.  California's "Tornado Alley" (central San Joaquin Valley and Sacramento Valley) experience tornadoes that rival the Great Plains in frequency.  The most common tornadoes are those in the F0 and F1 category, with rare verified reports of a F2 class tornado and F4 and F5 class tornadoes have never been reported in California.

I expect the same thing with Oregon, especially in the high desert area but not with the frequency found in California.
