Lynchmob
« on: June 07, 2009, 04:02:09 PM »
I'm not saying side switching is wrong. We all know several that do in order to get a good fight. But when you switch sides after a tempest fighter sweep mission takes off and then we are met by 15k high alt fighters like 152s, K4s and F4u-4s, it looks gamey IMO.
When someone passes up several targets to chase a wounded plane for a sector and a half just to attempt a vulch while landing, tells me he is hunting certain people. You clearly had a P51D on your 6 the whole way you could of engaged with but you pressed on for what would have amounted to a cheap kill.

I was watching the roster closely and noticed that you were only switching to the enemy country when THEIR dar bar got big. That seems cowardly and only interested in points and score to me.

MadKow. It just strikes me as funny that a squad would switch sides when the enemy already had the numbers on us by double digits and come attack the very bases they were defending a moment earlier.

Pope and I went Bish about an hour before your mission... In fact we were flying with LLogan when I bailed out and changed fields because of the DAR.. LOL he  even sent me a pm asking if I got disco because I moved so fast.. I'm sorry that it was you in the temp but one thing has nothing to do with the other.. If you give me your email I will send you the film of the sortie.. Pope told me he gave a temp an oil leak so I dove and chased you for a sector and a half.. I did what anyone would do... Not one person here would would let a hurt temp land.... And thinking about GHI was the person who put the mission up to bust what turned out to be your raid.. The Kow had nothing to do with it...

I remember one night in a land far, far away (Trinity map I think it was although it mighta been Uterus) the Damned were up as a group, whooping and hollorin and boozin it up so we decided to run a fighter sweep that went deep into rook land. We upped and flew our little drunkun mission and lo and behold we ran smack dab into a huge jabo flight of P-47's loaded with eggs and rocks. We had a few K alt and tore into them. Got lotsa scalps and forced them to drop their eggs and rocks. We completely broke up a mission soley by accident.

It can happen. It had nothing to do with spies or swapping sides. One thing about maps...dar tells all. Not necc plane types but the fact there is a big bar there says alot.

Suggest when you run into it from either side you take it and run with whatever happens.

After all it is a cartoon game and was made so you could have fun...

Seems you should have had plenty of alt. The targets came to you? Lucky bastage... what is there to complain about?

This is true.  the Kow and POPE were back in their homeland way before the mission........

And you shouldn't be too upset..... After all, weren't a few of the loyal Lynchmob in your mission?
