If I heard HT correctly last night, the Spit has an inadvertantly added tail skid (or sumthin) that accounts for it's, ahem, strange takeoff behavior.

I've heard that the tail wheel doesn't currently work properly. In other words your rudder inputs at low speeds do nothing, since normally this would be translated to a tail-wheel for steering. Once you get up to 100MPH or so and the rudder starts to work, all should be well.
I'm sure this will be fixed in the next release, as I know HTC is aware of it.

LOL! I wondered why it took me 6 attempts to get into the air in my Spit the other night. I don't fly it much, and it was downright embarrassing to rip the landing gear off 5 times in a row!
