Solution for new planes, to please everyone ?

The solution as far as new planes goes, in as far as what country gets what planes should be addressed like this IMHO, every update each country gets one plane each, or 2 each simple as that.

However with the lack of an Allied V Axis arena and RPS, what does it matter what country gets what?????, can you RAF,USAF,& LW, Pilots out there answer that please!.

Finally does anyone know where AH is going, with the increasing numbers of WW2 based online sims around that are based on a Allied V Axis Arena (WB, 2.77 & 3, WW2 online, & IL2).

Now I understand the strong opion in this game, that people want a non Allied / Axis arena, however just as many do WANT an Allied /Axis arena.

Special events dont count IMHO, as they are based during a certain time frame, and not all people can meet this time slot.

You are ignoring many important factors that will help decide what planes HTC adds.  Aside from what you mention about what the market wants, HT and Pyro have other issues such as availability of data, resources required for art and FM construction, and much more.  It's not that simple.  They'll do what's best in their opinion.  You may disagree, but you must realize that you don't have very much of the information that decision is based on, so your opinion is a less informed one that HTC's.

As to your conjecture about who wants what arenas, it's just conjecture.  You don't have any data to back that up.  HTC has years of experience and real data to help them estimate who wants what.  You can try all the straw poles on the BBS you want, but they are fairly meaningless considering the entire player base.  HTC has more constraints to work under than you do when you are forming your opinion.

And there is one universal truth you seem to have missed.  In reality you can't please everyone.

I think it was Abe Lincoln that said:  "You can please some of the people all of the time, and you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time."

Marcof - the Tempest was a plane made by Hawker which used the Napier-Halford Sabre engine.  It was based on the Hawker Typhoon.

The Supermarine Spitfire F. Mk. XIV was a Spitfire Mk. IX rebuilt around the Rolls-Royce Griffon engine and it was a completely different airplane from the Tempest.
