Made a speaker shelf
« on: June 11, 2009, 05:16:27 PM »

This is exactly what I intended originally. Once I started though I had grand ideas and decided to go for 2 shelves of 24 inches long and then 20 inches high. Well after many many errors I ended back at my original idea. Actually many mistakes on this hence the dark stain. It's also now only 20 inches long.  :rofl :rofl :rofl still though it won't stand out like a sore thumb in the computer room.

Finally made it into the house. Took a while for the stain and clear coat to dry because of the humidity.

But why do you keep two bowling clubs there?

Those are speakers!   :lol Those came with my 10 year old dell. I gave the dell to my son and kept the speakers because they sound great. They're Harmon/Kardon.

:lol :lol My wood working skills are marginal at best. If I made a desk the computer would slide off or the desk would collapse. However, you do have me thinking.

Remember the rule of thumb............ measure twice cut once. That will take you a long long way.  :aok

That being said..... now you have done something that many never attempt.
