I like the grouping...
« on: June 11, 2009, 07:34:29 PM »
I'd imagine HTC added the I 16 and the Brewster at the same time, because otherwise the Brewster doesn't really fit in... it doesn't have a contemporary fighter to go against. I don't remember in the past them doing something like this.
But it's cool. It would be nice if you guys kept on adding aircraft in sets like that. Maybe next time with the Oscar, A6M3 and G4M or something.

Agreed.  Hopefully the trend will continue whenever they add something new that doesn't have a counter part already in game.  I'm really hoping they start plugging more holes in the plane set though.

I'm surprised they got two new planes, plus the Typh (maybe Temp?) PLUS the new terrain...huge update coming up!

Adding one axis and one allied contemporary at the same time seems like a good plan.  For example, the Curtis P-36 and the KI-43 at the same time, or for the ground game a Pzkw III and a British Crusader.

I'm still waiting for the IAR, just because it would fit in with the I-16 and Brewster additions perfectly.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

Did you notice Superfly has only made one model for the update, yet Waffle has made 2. We might have another update or plane on the way, I'm betting on the former though.

I think the last time we had a big update (they had updated the CV groups, and something else pretty big, I forget what it was though) was Spring last year, and by the end of it people were saying 'just stop announcing new/updated planes/vehicles and release the update already!'. :)

It would be nice to see an update to several planes that are in the present hanger,mossie,110 and 202/205 come to mind.
That said with the new terrain/lighting and the new planes/update it looks like we will soon see the benefits of HTC shelving old projects and consentrating on the core game! :aok

IIRC they added the Hurri I, Spit I, 109E and 110C together, so there is some precedence for adding aircraft "packages".  I think there have been other cases of this as well.

I believe Val, Kate and Dauntless came online together.

LOL!!! Yeah, I figured from past wishlists, 2 planes that would
give victorious feelings in both "bomber camps"... You know,
the LW perk Buff vs EW scenario Buff crowds...
