With tracks that plane would have lower ground pressure and it could use muddy or otherwise toejamty places as airfield.

Keep in mind that that little idea never caught on.  The key concept that they misssed in the design was drag.  Tracks have no where near the capacity of less drag than do wheels.

You'd have to use hydrolics to spin em up, and it seems like an awefully small footprint for an effective track.  The resistance would be terrible.
