Strange then that the AH N1K2-J outrolls the F6F-5 at all airspeed under 325 mph.

Jekyll, that is my impression, but admittedly I haven't timed either with a stop watch.

But compared to the planes I fly, Yak and P51, when I get in a N1K2 it feels like its trying to roll in glue.
