I'm abit rusty, what is TrackIR?

It's a head tracker that lets you look around using small movements of your head. Turn your head right and your view swings right. It will also move you closer or away from the dash by leaning a bit forward or back. Leaning side to side is also supported. I would like to get one.

Number pad > Hat > TrackIR.

Number pad > Hat > TrackIR.

So you are saying that num pad is the best?

I use a MS Sidewinder FF JS.  I set one of the buttons on the base as the "look up view".  One button on the base is for vox and the other 2 are for the flaps.  Works for me.

hit shift m

when you move your mouse, itls like moving your head around in the cockpit.

can't remember if there's something in the clipboard you have to check before  it's enabled.

I also prefer the numpad.

I have an 8-way switch and a 4-way.
The 8-way never gets touched. My Ch fighterstick is too big and I'm fast on keypad.

I use "/" for WEP

"-" throttle down
"+"Throttle up full

"0" Flaps up
"." Flaps down

"*" Warp Speed

I can keep my eyes on planes though I don't know how to fight em.

I've thought about chopping it down an 1/2 inch with shorties stubby conversion.
But the Numpad works for me.
