WWII Weekend Pictures
« on: June 13, 2009, 07:40:13 PM »
Not the best ever due to rain, and not having access to the good camera, but got some from the 'WWII Weekend' in Reading, PA.
Not all of the pictures, and it is slightly pic heavy, so for slow internet users, may wish to be look away. :)

It's too bad it rained. Of the 5 I've gone to there it rained only once. Actually, I'm surprised it rained there. I couldn't make it down (live in MA 4 hours away) this year due to a couple of graduations I had to go to, and it didn't rain at all around here. Got stuck sitting through both FULL ceremonies  :furious

Kilz, the shows are great, occupied french village with german soldiers all around, WWII vehicles, planes, fleamarket with all kinds of things ( found the cylinder plug harness for an F4u one year), WWII radio show, battle re-enactments on the airfield, and an airshow. Makes for a great weekend !

I went on sunday I have some pics I'll upload, the weather was much much better. On another note when we arrived the P51D was taking off for his 1st flight demo of the day...we parked at the one business complex off the end of the runway. Much to our delight here comes this Mustang at full power Merlin just totally tubular screamin just a few hundred feet over our heads.......It was quite moving to say the least.

USB cable from phone to computer. :aok

I haven't owned a phone yet that has a USB connector. The only one that's ever come with a data cable was this iPhone, and you have to have it to activate the thing.

I was gonna say the same thing OOZ.  Not every phone has a USB connector, but my Voyager came with one.
