"Could somebody rescue me? Come on guys...PULLEZZE!"

I did some searching and I didn't find anything like this that was newer than 1007 so either I'm not doing a good search or no one brought this up in a while so either help me correct my mistakes or no whining.

Well anyway, I thought it would be nice to be able to pick up downed pilots and make it so they don't count as "bailed" or "shot down" and they won't loose any perks, vids, or screen shots, or whatever they have. I want to be able to land my C47 near (like half a mile or so) a couple of downed pilots and pick them up; once I am in range a prompt could appear on screen like the accept join thing. It would also be cool to be able to drive by in a PT boat or an LVT or something. You could do it with a jeep or a half-track or whatever you want. Just think about it. Since it would ba a high risk job you could have the ammount of perks set to 5 or so times that of a normal sortie.
Although it sounds "awesome", its most likely that a player will not wait the 10 maybe 30 minutes to be saved from a single lose when he or she can be back in the air five seconds later to not only even his or her score, but surpass it by one or as many as he or she is capable of. Not to mention, he or she will have to wait for you to land, and what if you yourself becomes downed, what then?

I give you +1 for effort, but in reality (Aces High), players will not wait 20 minutes for one less lose.

I merely attempt to introduce a teeny, tiny bit of perspective.

My oscar Wrong Way, you lash out at me. And I enjoy your "Teeny, tiny bit of perspective" being shot at me as if from the gun on a P47. I am not saying I want you to do that but it is enjoyable sometimes.

I pay to play, not wait for a taxi.  I guarantee you that each and every towered pilot gets a brand new airplane if they want it everytime!  It is an ok idea, but not a high priority for myself.

Lash out at you, I think not.  Mighty self-important there, aren't we?  You're just very prolific at the moment.

The "tiny bit of perspective" is like playing Devil's Advocate.

How much work to coad vs. return?
Can you already do what you want to do now?
Would it do what you think it would do?  Would the outcome be what you think it would be?
Are you sure that's what you want?

Besides, Banshee7 and I were nominated to be the unofficial wishlist filters.

I wouldn't complain if they added everything ever wished for.  Lots of work for the 2-4 coaders.  What work is more important to you?  Or, to them?  Many have been wished for ad nauseum, which seems work sometimes.  Some have been wished for before and actually rejected, hence, it ain't gonna happen.

As for a shot at you, I couldn't help but notice
...was this added since chrismas or somethin, I wouldn't know, my computer doesn't work with AH2, and I still don't want to shell out a couple hundred bucks for a new one.
And it makes me wonder what all the fuss is about from someone who doesn't even currently play the game he wants so many additions and changes to?
