What happened to kill?

Pinged a plane a couple of days ago. It was on fire and too far to make it to base. I RTB'd, rearmed and flew another 30 minutes and never got the kill or even an assist. So what happened there? Just curious.

I shot an IL2 the other day, shot his tail off and nothing not even an assist, so I think the Video Game gods were punishing me for all the bombing of the ground ponders I been doing here lately. :D

Kill it dead cause them Asian birds tend to flame for a while and turn back to ding ya

I hit an f6f and got it flaming the other night.I thought it was never going to go out.But it blew up after i put a few 50's in it.
