Hmm. Personally i think the limit on spending is a good thing but i understand why the big spenders are sulking.

Personally, I really miss CanAm racing...
Those CanAm unlimiteds were the coolest
race cars ever... Faster than Indy or F1...

Chapperal, McLaren, Lola.... Gotta love it...

But those might be a little before your time...

Because it includes using standardised parts - which goes against the "ideals" of F1...the teams (FOTA) want to be able to determine their own budgets, have more say in the regs and continue with the open formula, but this also about commercial rights and forcing FIA/Eccelstone to give up the majority of the cash to the teams.

I fail to see how its possible for FIA to continue without Ferrari, Red Bull, Toro Rosso, McLaren, Toyota, Renault, Brawn GP, and BMW Sauber who will also take all the drivers with them

Yes i understand why, but i really think its wrong. Im a fan of heavy restrictions and bans in "sports" like this.

On the other hand, anything that gets rid of the Max and Ernie show is a step in the right direction.

I dont, at least not for F1 - its supposed to be the most innovated, best & advanced open wheel racing series - not a new form of Indy car
