Being in the Jokers, there are always people in the squad logging in and out. I am not constantly typing .sr so I think it would be helpful If whenever a squad member logs in or out, that there is a notification in the text buffer.

I like to know when my squaddies are on.  :aok

you mean jokers don't say "hi" or something when they come in? And leave when your talking or flying with them?
If so you should put this on your squad's wishlist, and if not I don't see a problem.

Ok let me clarify this. It has NOTHING to do with the jokers. It is simply a wish to see when your squad members log on. I dont care what squad you are in, not everyone is going to say hello, or bye when they log in or out 100% of the time. Once again I did not recieve a real reason against this wish. I would like to see what sort of problem this could cause, because I dont see any.

ever been in the o'club,  remember how that text buffer gets filled up with people loging in and out messages, you really want to see that in MA? Perhaps there should be an option to enable it or disable it, or enable it and disable it only for your squad.

If you take another look at the OP's original post, it can only be interpretted as applying to a single squad. Having said that, it would be of little help to the "multiple allied squadrons" (<-- is that the PC term for mega-squads these days?  :lol)

Regards,

Hammer

I certainly was hoping to clarify(as I felt I knew what the OP was asking for), and avoid any additional strife to what once was a hot button issue hammer.  PC term?  Never thought of that way... :lol  In the end you are correct.  Most every Pig says hello/goodbye in their own way when entering/leaving vox channel.  So it is fairly easy at least to see who is on in a given arena.

The Lobby ( I think that's what you were reffering to with O'club) is used by just about everyone in the game, so it will be cluttered with messages of people logging in and out, ESPECIALLY when orange is ful by 1-5 people and everyone is logging in or out trying to get in. So using the lobby as an example of how this would clutter text is not a valid argument at all. How much text clutter do you think can come from 30 people? Its not like they log in or out every 5 minutes. Once you are in, you will most likely be there for a while.

Woops, I meant to comment on that in my last post. Ya, I always like having the option to enable notifications and such, good Idea.

Most (if not all) guys in our squad give a "Hi guys" or a <S> on squad channel. I dont see the need to code something like that, when a little common courtesy will suffice. They are your online buddies after all.
