I kinda wish they could add Submarine warfare to Aces high. Great tactic for searching and attacking task groups

Medal Of Honor series (for PS2),
Call Of Duty series (PS2 and Xbox360),
AH2,
Red Orchestra,
Secret Weapons Over Normandy (PS2).

What is Red Orchestra like?  I have played counter strike in the past and see them advertising red orchestra.

The only thing I've been playing other than Aces High is Battlefield 1942, and I play that about 1/1000th as much as Aces High.

The CoD series really isn't a sim, but they are really fun to play! Even the early ones!

Red Orchestra is one of the best out there for land combat. Don't forget to download the mods for it too (Darkest Hour and Mare Norstrum). Mare Norstrum isn't as popular as it used to be, but there are still some who play it. Darkest Hour is still in open beta though, and still needs a bit more work but is good overall.
