you put yourself on the receiving end more than not and it's understandable why you dislike the vulch.

I'm not sure where I said that I put myself on the receiving end of a vulch more often than not and that's why I started this post.
All I'm saying is that I took 5 minutes and tried the vulch to see why everyone's so enthralled with it.  Found out exactly what I thought: vulching isn't my thing.  I don't care if others like it.  Don't read more into my post than I put in it.

Getting vulched is an act of stupidity.  For some, it's a temporary lapse.  For others, it's not.

Vulching is an act of natural selection.  In this virtual world, for $15/month, the stupid survive to do stupid again.

If you find vulching boring then you're doing it wrong.

ack-ack

:aok Absolutely.  They must not be setting the bar high enough.  Rocket vulch from outside of icon range...check.  Rocket vulch on two planes taking off from different runways with one rocket...check (ya got to catch them at the runway intersection) :)  They're just not being creative enough.

Your right ....it is my coin i spend so watch me vultch and HO all day long. I like a good fight as much as the next guy but the so called purest in the game don't fly around with there names painted on the side of the plane so I'M just supposed to assume that while entering the merge, there will be a purist at the other end? when i merge
and pull up , go over the top and we are nose to nose i am gonna take the shot. if you end up a flying pile of rubble,
so be it. you wanna call the HOing....well ok, fine by me. in fact i think i would pay double for the pleasure of getting PMd by all the tards that scream about getting HOd.

Well, for one, if you pull up and over the top after initial merge, and wind up nose-to-nose, IMO you're free to squeeze... As far as I'm concerned, and my practice of habit, is I usually don't fire on initial merge (unless fired upon or ganged), after that it's game on. Second merge? Go for it. And you're right, you don't know who is in that other bird coming in nose-to-nose. That's why I try to avoid being in that position if possible, because I never know when it's gonna be a good stick with class, or whether it's gonna be a HOing loser dweeb.  :)

As for the vultch.....It's just plain fun but if you don't want to do it.....than don't

Really.... the most fun is clipping a plane on the rearm pad <----------- :cry

You'll be happy to learn I quit giving a flying frack about my moral high ground on vulching, and strafed the p!$$ out of a field today.  :lol

I see footage of WW2 A/C vultching planes on the ground almost every night on the military channel. Pony's used to loiter 262 air fields to vultch them upon landing.
I don't know bro..... looks like they be havin some fun there...

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW since they did it in WWII, we should do it in AHII!! When you bail near an enemy base and are captured, you have to go to a POW camp 'til the map resets!! YAY!! That would be fun!!

I dont do much vulching myself (always get a sudden attack of lawndart syndrome) and its only recently Ive decided Ill no longer up from a capped field, despite my very british taste for lost causes.

Theres no point giving away free kills, so to this end Ive put a post it note on my screen:

"DON'T FEED THE VULCHERS!"

I never liked the vulching, however, when I still flew I sometimes happened to be at the right time and place to land a few 100lbs bombs on the runway where the unlucky were spawning :D
Very gratifying when doing so from 20k in a B-17

I have definately noticed a trend recently by some squads to set up field for vulch early in tour with no intent of taking field. The purpose it would seem is to drive up squad scores. Get them by themselves and they are generally easy pickins tho. I like to come in from another field and catch them on the way home to land thier "kills". Not that is fun. :aok

Answering that will most likely get this thread locked.......... besides there are several.

But to each his own.

The answer to this question would take this thread nowhere real fast Sir.
