Vulch = Boring

So...was in EW last night.  4-5 of us were taking a small airbase defended by 3-4 of them (some in armor, some in planes).  Was a good battle - they'd kill our armor, we'd kill theirs - couple of airplanes up and we kill each other.  Town almost down and troops inbound.  The airfield was just deacked.  Since I never vulch, I thought I'd take a couple minutes and see what the attraction is for those that regularly do it.  Killed two planes, took the base a little while later. 

What is it about vulching that appeals to those that do it?  I thought it was boring and lame; just as I thought it would be.  Sure, we were supporting the ground troops but that's not the most fun way to do it.  Usually being on the receiving end, I know the frustration and anger it generates.  One must really be a pathetic person to regularly take part in vulch fests.

Agreed in some situations, but there is sometimes a need to suppress the field by vulching (usually waiting for troops) while trying to take the base. The frustrating one for me is when there is no attempt whatsoever to actually take the field. This can be cured quite easily by simple not upping or my personal favorite, if the VH is up I park a wirble in the middle of the runway.

When I get vultched it always kind of ticks me off. You can't be looking for a fight if you don't let the guys get wheels up. You're just looking for the easiest kill. Whenever I'm at a field that has been overrun and the vultch lamp lit, I'll either climbout to the next base or just rtb.

Now I WILL vultch someone if they run for a few sectors because they're too afraid to fight. Then I take much satisfaction in it

i've done some vulching myself but when a country field is being vulch i'll up from a different base come in high and vulch the vulcher's

Sometimes I come in above the guys who are vulching the vulchers, and vulch them!

  Up against a Horde taking a base is suicide but I have great fun in upping on the Runway and as they zoom in to Vulch I Tower out causing them lost ammo and even score a few kills with the inexperienced as they come straight down the runway in line with my guns.
  I have vulched someone who wouldn't fight and dragged me to his ack then as he landed I killed him and got a nasty PM. I Laughed and Laughed as I rtb successfully. Good Fun.

This is possibly the most "OVERUSED" and LAME excuse for vulching    Tis easy enough to supress uppers from just outside field gun range!!! <---- (this being the prefered method of getting kills for majority of peeps in AH)   When taking a base IF the gayng will allow uppers to just get wheels up and 200 meters from the edge of the base, you would have far more peeps upping to try and save the base   When the vulch is on most folks stop defending as they see it pointless to try!! So you vulchingayngtards are just limiting your own fun and "score padding" by setting up the vulch in the 1st place

There is a natural cycle to the AH fight, 1 country is getting spanked just off their base untill the fight moves to the other country' base and so on and so on, back and forth we go!! It is when the dolts set up the vulch at 1 of these bases that ruins the natural "ebb and flow" of the Aces High experience!-----> So stop it!

Funny, I guess our definitions of vulching are different. I think letting a plane barely getting wheels up 200 meters from the field is vulching. I mean, it doesn't take much more "skill" to pick a plane off barely wheels up than it does sitting on the runway.
