What will PETA come up with next...

Couple months old...

I guess PETA now stands for "People Eating Tasty Actors."...

These people are out of control. Here in Michigan a few weeks ago I heard they were going to buy or rent one of the old lighthouses. They will open it up to the public and use it to educate "we carnivores" on the ethical treatment of fish. :huh Some people have way too much time and money on their hands, I think I'll stop by when they open and offer them some fresh walleye fillets!!! :t

So we were at a Fishing Tournament In Virgina Beach a few years back and those Peta folks were protesting us. A cool Tuna tourament that all the meat from the fish caught was being donated to Charity for soup kitchens and what not. Anyway these folks of course have a right to do what they were doing so instead of getting all upset with them we all wore these shirts to support them..... :devil

But there is an unmistable hint of Billy Bob Thornton that lingers on the palate for awhile.  :P

When I was in the Coast Guard I had to drive past PETA's HQ in Norfolk everyday going back and forth to the base from my house. Did it for 8 years. When I first moved here I hadn't even heard of PETA, didn't know that was their HQ, nothing. Got the lowdown within a few months, but the first fall I was here was the best.

Was coming home from work, late November i.e. deer season, and as soon as I came out of the mid-town tunnel and got onto Brambleton Road traffic just stopped. I was sitting there wondering what was going on, traffic was merging over the the left lane and crawling. Got up by PETA's building and there's this poor guy, decked out in hunter orange sitting in his car, hood up, and steam pouring out of his radiator, with a dead deer strapped to the roof of his car. Police are trying to get the PETA freaks to back off so they can get a tow truck in there to move the guys car, but they were going NUTS on this dude.

Talk about the WRONG place to break down with a dead animal strapped to your car. Felt really sorry for the guy. The paper said several PETA folks were arrested and charged with vandalism because they were throwing stuff at his car, broke one of windows, busted out tail lights and stuff. The artical said the guy was sitting in his car with his shotgun loaded waiting for the police after they started attacking his car.

That was also the first year the local radio station started having their annual PETA fishing tournament. Been in a few of those. Always a good time.

Yeah, so it's a horrific crime to hurt an animal, but it's perfectly fine to attack another person like that. Frelling hypocrites.

I'm almost afraid to ask what a "PETA fishing tournament" consists of....

If I were him right when they started attacking my property I would have unloaded on them.

It should be legal to hunt PETA members. But not on Sunday, I might be hung over.

I say if they have the right to annoy/harass us, then we have the right to ignore and/or slap the living hell out of the freaks.  Funniest thing I have ever seen happen to the peta freaks was at one of their "protests" at a KFC.  A couple of people got some chicken, sat outside the KFC on lawn chairs happily munching their chicken while watching the freaks make fools of themselves.  When they got done with a piece they would fling the bones at the Peta folks making a game out of see who could hit more with one throw.  The local cops thought it was the funniest thing as well.  After the people folks ordered the cops to arrest/cite them for assualt,  the cops went over and told the folks that they should stop littering because there was enough trash over there as it was.  I damn near busted a gut from trying not to laugh at the looks on their faces.

Well, I think it'd be more fun to hunt them slightly hung over... You never know, you could always get that sudden urge to puke right as you pull the trigger that'll get you the triple headshot you see people getting in CoD all the time. :D
