Oh, and you should receive the 21 gun salute to your face!

I detailed a few funerals (5).  Never had a protester.  Don't think I could keep my cool.  Of course, I don't think my CO would've hesitated to take his Rangers off their leashes in such a situation.

I've seen a documentary about this group you're speaking of.
They are a disgusting bunch of zealots who are raising their children in the same tradition.
However they have their rights, as shocking and unsettling as their behavior is. The sad truth is...
It's far easier to be an a**hole than it is to honorably serve your country.

The Supreme court did not uphold a ruling. They in fact did not rule at all, which for now allows this group to picket and protest funerals. This stems from a missouri law saying this group can not protest within a certain radius of the cemetery. Because the Missouri law did not specify what the radius is, the supreme court did not rule on it. Missouri is in the process now of fine tuning the law and the ACLU is sueing the state of Missouri because of it.
40 other states including Iowa have similar laws on the books. Iowas' law is that these clowns can not protest or picket 1 hour before and 1 hour after the funeral starts. Making that constitutional in the eyes of the courts. Once Missouri restates their law these folks will disappear like the did here.  :salute
