Mosquito Meeting 2009 has started

It is the 15th Mosquito Meeting, the annual Finnish summer meet.  :rock


No worries.. the ordinance is not porked. We are well supplied :)

First sauna picture. Several guys are in sauna instead of flying ;)


Visit to Lapland Air Command tomorrow (to see them Hornets and their real simulators).

Just back from Lapland Air Command... First we saw a Hornet practicing aerobatics for an Air Show  :O and then visited the hangars and their Simulator Room  :x ... and several of us got to fly it as well  :rock I myself took off, tried some maneuvers, flew with some simulated faults (e.g. 8 of the 12 control surfaces damaged), and landed... a bit long landing, but still on the runway :aok None of us crashed it either.

At the moment the sober ones are shooting on a track with some pistols and assault rifles. Then back to flying again   :salute

DB603 had asked the Lapland Air Command weapons smith to mill us bottle openers from Hornet's cannon shell casings  :D
