I need 8 heavy hitters to join me

The Battle of the Coral Sea approaches.  I need 8 more brave pilots to join me in VT-2 and VT-5.  We are the torpedo squadrons of the mighty USS Lexington and the USS Yorktown -- and it is *our* job to deliver the knockout blows to the enemy carriers, putting them on the bottom of the Coral Sea.

Plus you get to see me completely screw up a command position - errr, i mean lead you all to a glorious death, eerrrrrrr I mean victory  ;) :D

Oneway is the opposition CO, and this is going (in all seriousness) to be a hell of a scenario

Come and join either side (preferably mine obviously) as the more people that sign up, make it more of an experience for all of us.

I gotta say that it's hard to beat a scenario such as this. CV group hunting CV goup. Scouting to find the enemy, dive bombers, torps, CAPing your own fleet, the CV boss bringing the boat into the wind to get a flight onto the deck before resuming course. Atmosphericially, it doesn't get any better than this - you'll have a ball no matter what plane or role you are assigned.

Last time we did Coral Sea, I flew dive bombers with the SK guys. Loved it.

By the way, by "heavy hitters" (in the title of the topic) I mean folks willing to fly torpedo bombers, not that folks who join me must be the most-experienced people in Aces High.

Scenarios are open to people with all levels of experience.

We can train folks to become expert torpedo bombers!  :salute

Noon ET is about the only time that works across US and Europe (otherwise, it's starting at midnight or later in Europe).

But in all seriousness, Scenarios are what AH is all about!! Flying planes you generally wouldnt fly, flying with guys youve never met, and making friendships that last a lifetime!!  Ive made many life long friends through Scenarios!! Join up guys, its gonna be a blast!!

I believe he means 3pm Eastern for starting, 2 pm Central and Noon Pacific.  Check local listings for the start time in your area at..
