Hmmm, found two little gems here (big pics)
« on: January 19, 2001, 11:13:00 AM »
While roaming through a book I've got I found a wonderous photo. The Smithsonian Book of Flight has a picture of the second to last C.202 in existance. If you get the chance, borrow or buy this book. it's great.

If I had a scanner I'd show you the photo from the book. That C.202 above is from 4šStormo, says so on the engine cowling.

Any chance of getting this paint job for our Bf-109G6? It looks better than our G6 by a long shot!

Actually I like our G6, the "black devil" Hartmann scheme is awesome, I'm sorry you don't feel the same way.

I prefer Hartmann's G6 as well.

Btw that B-17 mural in 202's background is quite a piece of work...the actual painting is on display at Scholes Field, Galveston. They make a nice 8'X 5' mural of it too

Those shots I believe are from the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. I went there 2 years ago  and was, let me say, very impressed. I drooled like a puppy with a can of Alpo opened in front of it.
