ENY gauge
« on: July 04, 2009, 04:48:12 PM »
Ok this is something that shouldn't be put at the top of the list, but I would like to have. I would love to have an eny gauge shows and monitorseny for the country you are flying for in the top left or right corner of my screen. I dont' really have any amazing reasons why this should be added. I just think it would make it a easier when planning missions, by knowing what planes you will be able to take up, and by helping you determine if you should end your sortie or not b/c eny is to high and you can't get the plane you are in if you end your sortie. Now I know you can pull up your clipboard, go through the few steps there are to see what the eny is. That is why I am saying that this should not be put at the top of the list of things to be added. Ok ya'll can start the flaming <S> and happy 4th.

Or somewhere...on the bottom corner of your clipboard or something. Great idea!

It'd be a great addition. The only issue that I can think of is it would have to be constantly refreshing as ENY changes constantly. If theres a way to get around it, it'd be a great convenience.

Yup.  Right clicking the map to check is too inconvenient and takes too much time.

Wonder if there was a dynamic representation you could actually read it as it changed?

Issue being that the ENY limiter, perk points cost display, number of people in an arena, and perk point multiplier readout are all non-refreshing so as to limit stress on the data server...

You couldn't be more wrong.  Hang out in the hanger and watch the Multiplier change.  On the clipboard only is your statement true.  But in flight, it's as easy as dropping the clipboard and bringing it back up again.  Still no need to change the refresh code.

Even without constant updates, simply having it on screen when you select MISSIONS... or when you select HANGER would be very nice.

I've "hung out" in the hangar many a time and it is a static display. If I weren't on my phone right now, I'd search out the posts for you from the HTC staff that explains exactly why it is. That is, unless they snuck in an update to it in the last couple months that I didn't see.

Go into the hanger immediately after loggin in.  As your computer picks up the "new" players, you'll see the Bonus move.  Other then that it is like what you said..... You have to sit around and wait for enough people to log in or out for it to change.
