Jimdandy,

Lets just say that nightfighter Mosquitoes got far more He219s than He219s got Mosquitoes.

One problem with modeling the He219 is that the official performance is far better than the aircraft's actual performance.  Officially the He219 could do 419mph, in practice it couldn't break 400mph, let alone reach 419mph.  This could make modeling it accurately very difficult, not to mention highly contentious.

Mosquito NF.XXX had a top speed of 430mph, BTW.

I've been asking HT and Pyro for a P61B since Confirmed Kill 1995 (WB's beta) so get in line!

Well the Owl looks better.   :p You'll look cooler dead in an owl than alive in a Mosquito.   LOL

Since HTC modeled the Me 262 i want the Me 262 B-1 version ultimate night fighter! Slap around  a mossie any day of the week. They only have to change cockpit and add radar.

P-61 would be neat.

Ripsnort,

Did the P-61B have the top turret?

First nightfighter will be Ju 88 derivate.

Why? Because we have the 3D model already, only minor tweaking needed.

Yep, the P-61B had the turret installed from the get-go and some A models had it retro-fitted. Baugher's site has a nice section about the B model, start to finish.
