I don't have a ball in the game, I absolutely can't tolerate the volume of range channel smut, anger, male bonding, feminine childish outbursts, keying up to laugh, and various other Range vox annoyances. I closed my account long ago in hopes that at some point this problem would be addressed... I Have a hearing loss issue where using headphones is a problem, without the headphones the vox system is unusable due to the need to keep the volume low to muffle the Smut from the family.
The only solution was to cancel subscript. until the problem is fixed, or not fixed.
I really could careless on who leaves and or who stays in this "Game" what is more important to me is my fun and entertainment not anyone elses. Trust me there are many other entertainment conduits that don't force a Range channel  into your speaker system without a choice.
I am not "Uncalm" nor "Upset" nor "Disappointed" nor "Whatever" just verbalizing a fact.
For me to use the current system I have to disable a piece of the technology to function which would leave me without a squad option based on turning off Vox.

It's your money and time.

I do not understand why this needs to be posted.  "I am taking my ball and going home."  Is there going to be a mass exodus because you are not reactivating your account?

Calm down.  Get over yourself.  Reconsider.  Or not.

Teamspeak...so it costs you like $8/month...but you and your squad can have dedicated comms without interference from anyone else...then you can turn down the vox volume in game.

When I'm alone, I squelch myself.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

If memory serves correct. In one of those request threads. Hitech said range squelch aint ever gonna happen

Well, squelching range vox is a bit drastic, and I could see why he wouldn't want to do that, but I can't see the reason (if it is possible) for the game lacking a perma-squelch option.  I see the lack of that almost akin to how the film viewer used to work before they helped us out (having to manually rename everything).  It used to be a real pain, and now it is not.

I don't understand why saving people the trouble of typing in X amount of names each time they log in is such a bad thing.  I know if I ever have kids that play this game, I'm not going to appreciate having to type in certain names every time they want to play...

(Of course, I've only recently started playing again, so for all I know perma-squelch has been implemented.  If so, please disregard, and thanks!)

hmmm, try:

1. not flying with the horde, its always worse with bigger numbers
2. switching to knits, its practically radio silence most of the time...

ymmv.
