Welcome aboard. It's always good to see a dedicated Jagdgeschwader. Take Daddogs advice and check out Friday Squad Ops. It's similar to the S-3s or was it S-1s of Warbirds.
The JG-11, JG-2, and JG-54 guys are full of good info on the Luftwaffe Flight Models in AH. Also no reason to wash your mouth out a very large number of the AH community moved here from Brand W.

Good Hunting.

Just a hello to the AH community (good and bad) on behalf a few of my squad mates and I who have decided to hit the eject button on the other MMOFlightSim and jump in on your virtual skies...our squad will probably end up being represented as I/JG27 as we are not quitting our old squad and some of our squad members are sticking with the old donkey.

We prefer to fly Luftwaffe but on occasion we will grab something else.

Some of us are vets...some are pilots...some are both...all of us appreciate as much realistic WWII combat flight simulation as we can get without having the blood leech from our skulls in a turn...so far we like what Hitech has done with AH.

Some of you are going to like us...others are going to hate us worse than your ex mother in law...(fyi, I'm the worst one of the bunch).

<S> We'll be taking off from Knights airfields, see you in the arenas.

I DON't hate anyone, till they give me a reason to.

welcome aboard, and have fun!!!!

nice thing about the radio here (I don't know how it is with other games as AHII is my first and only) is you can talk on either a dedicated squad channel or the range channel and tune to both at the same time, so you're hearing your squaddies as well as other friendlies that happen to be in the area. Extra nice to not mute range if one of those other frienlies calls a check 6 for yas that your squaddies might not see....

that won't happen he's flying knits remember  :rofl

Negatory sir on both counts...Broz is not active right now but he drops in once in a while and Thor is still hoping for the old donkey to grow wings...

Welcome to Aces High - whoever said to try each country out is onto a winner. Your choice however. Please be aware there is a Scenario starting on the 18th July 09 - The battle of the Coral Sea.

There are 2 sides, which will fly 2 frames as the USN, then 2 frames as the IJN. Currently Team Zulu is USN for frames 1 and 2, with Team Alpha being IJN.

Please consider signing up, I can promise you this will be one hell of a battle.

Team CO's are:
Team Alpha - Oneway
Team Zulu - Gwurzel

Knights?  Are you guys 12?

I started out a knight, you know the reason? Well I was about 12, and rook and bishop sounded stupid... So I said that I'll be a knight because they sound cool.

OMG!!! That's it! All the little kids go to knights because it sounds cool. If not knights they go to rooks because really, bishop sounds queer. All the old people realize that the little kids don't want to go bishop so they all meet there (explaining the high numbers) and there you go!

 :rofl

Looking forward to new targets.  Welcome aboard.

Welcome to AH.

Regardless of what some may say, the Knights are a good bunch if you're in the right place with the right guys.  :aok

Nonsense.

Welcome...watch out for those 38 dweebs.
When I die bury me in a P38.

I watch day after day, week after week, tour after tour, the Bishops and Rooks take bases and win maps while the Knights stand there with their thumbs stuck in their butts. It's just pathetic!
