Suggestions for IJA and IJN info...
« on: March 03, 2001, 01:04:00 AM »
has anybody tried finding info on the planes that could be added to AH by contacting the Kawaski or Mitsubishi companies and asking them for thier info on the birds?

If anybody would have them it would be them or maybe throught the Japanese Government(archives)?

Its worth a try...

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I recently got a package from a friend of mine with a skinny little book in it. Called Aircraft of WW2. Nothing terribly big, but there's a LOAD of planes in it. Some that saw little service, others that saw action in humongo numbers. Hell until I got this book I didn't know what a D.520 or a Defiant looked like!! Still looking for the Brewster Buffalo but haven't found it yet.

I assume HT already plenty of info about the Japanese aircraft. A good book to get is Japanese Aircraft of the Pacific War, published in 1974. The absolute best with intimate details about all aircraft, even the prototypes.
