EVGA isn't ideal anymore.
I had a Ge 7600GTS from them, and when it fried I checked the warranty, and I had missed it expiring by about 6 months. I lasted about 6 months longer than most.
So I go to their customer support, register, log in, check their help forums.... Turns out the entire (very popular, I might add) 7600 line of cards EVGA was putting out only had a life span a little over 2 years. Cheap capacitors, faulty parts, basically bad manufacturing, ensured the cards would all die just outside of their warranty expiration. A few folks snuck in just barely under the wire (meaning their cards died even sooner) and got a replacement card, but it really looks like underhanded business tactics to me.
IMO avoid them. Unethical company from my experience. Go with another brand.
