I understand the OP's frustration at not being able to have the mute removed in as rapid a manner as it was emplaced; a downside of the ".report" feature is that there is no ".un-report" command, HTC staff must be contacted for a mute to be removed. I do not berate him for posting that frustration here one iota, in fact I'd say that he more than deserves the right to rant about the abuse of the ".report" function. The only place he erred was in poking Skuzzy with a sharp stick; had he said "I really wish HTC people were available 24/7" would have certainly been more appropriate.
Really now! How would you feel if you had a problem that only Skuzzy could fix and he adopted the attitude you mentioned. Would you feel that helps or hurts an already unpleasant situation? Next time when you say some people should be treated in a certain way, take a moment and ask yourself if you would like to be treated in the manner you advocate. Just something my mother told me a long time ago.
HTC has already proved that its their playground and their rules. Should Skuzzy or anyone else at HTC find a post offensive it IS in their rights to slap an idiot around. It would be very easy to have an idiot wait a week before getting his privileges returned just for acting like an idiot and posting the crap the OP posted, as a lesson to the idiot and anyone else thinking that they too might want to be an idiot and post the same kind of crap that anyone who ISN'T an idiot would know better than to post.
Had the OP had a little patience all would have been resolved tomorrow with out any "drama", but that childish "I want it my way NOW!" attitude could cost him a bit more than a quite weekend.
Oh, did I mention I think the OP was an idiot for bringing this to the boards?
