82nd looking to get our wet fet.
« on: July 12, 2009, 10:48:51 AM »
Hello all,

We are looking to get our feet wet into FSO. If possible, is there any current squadron in the current FSO willing to allow us to fly as an attachment if they're any seats available? Currently we have 11 but several are on combat leave so we have 4-8 we could commit.

If any unit has the selected above could you please PM me? Thanks in advance.

I doubt that any squad could take your whole squad. You might have to split up into a couple of groups.  As friday approaches I'm sure you'll find a temporary home.

What Ham said. That is a lot of guys. If a squad is going to be low on numbers they could take 4 or so, but they would have to be careful not to go over.

Sometimes squads just don't know how many will show up. We have been 20+ for quite a while, then suddenly last Friday we were at 17. Feel free to contact me and I am sure the 332nd could find a slot for at least 2 of your guys, maybe as many as 6. Also you may want to check the side assignments this FSO before you contact a squad. :)

Many squads would be happy to have a couple of your guys.

Hope to see you guys sign up.  :)

I think the term is Feet Wet.  Like putting your foot into the pool to check temperature before jumping in.  :aok

5th Air Force could probably take up to 4-6 or so.  We've got a lot of guys with real life stuff going, so we've had some light turnout.

Send me a PM if you're interested.

If memory serves correct, this week is Dayton. From previous postings and the list that are attending the campout, you should have little problem getting all your guys in the air, at least this week anyways.

:salute  And hope you all enjoy it's  :x

Forgive him.  He's in DC after all, and y'all know those PC types just suck the smarts out of anyone there.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. :)

Without giving too much away I think I saw the P-38 on Stoney's list for the next FSO in Aug. ;)
