Which is why he posted it.
To accurately describe the pictures.

Accurately describe and disprove are VERY different. There WAS no description with the pictures and thus nothing to dispute but the very existence of the aircraft.

Now I posted the link to "disprove"?   :rofl

At least someone used their brain and KNEW why I posted the link.   Even Snopes said "It exists".    :uhoh

Notice I never said you posted it to disprove. I said it MAY be misinterpreted as being posted to disprove, as that is the normal purpose of a snopes link.

No, it's Hungarian.
Since when does the US use the Mi 24 anyway? :lol

Ok, so I was wrong, Sue me, it was sent to me via e-mail with the caption >

(A Must - Check out this awsome Paint Job! Check out what some of our boys overseas did to there helicopter.
Some Afghan is probably freaking out right about now.
The Story is: this very special Mi-24 helicopter is flying in Afghanistan, where it is no doubt causing quite a stir. God Bless the USA.)

But who really gives a cares where it came form or where its flying, or who even owns it, that is not why I posted it in the first place.

I posted it because of the awsome paint job itself. So if you guys have nothing better to do then to pick topic's apart letter by letter, be my guest...........

This is also an interesting paintjob on a helicopter.  ;)

Incorrect.   Read the last paragraph.   It CLEARLY says the opposite of what you just posted.

Umm

he said:

Quote
That snopes link may be misconstrued as stating the paint job is fake. For those who dont want to read it, the aircraft IS real. It is not American, but the OP didnt say it was anyway. It is a Hungarian display aircraft for airshows.

last paragraph says:

Quote
The type of helicopter shown in these images is the Mi-24 Hind; the unusually-decorated version pictured here originated with the Hungarian Air Force and was evidently painted with the eagle design by one of its crew members. The craft was not intended to be used in military operations and carried no armaments; it is strictly a display vehicle exhibited at air shows and the like.

He took the last paragraph and basically condensed it... notice his ALL CAPS "IS"

I am extremely confused as to why you insisted in saying he is incorrect?? I'm don't know jack about "serenity" but I read that post and knew exactly what the snopes link said without bothering to click it or read it.
