Task Group Commanders

When the CM says "Go!" and the commanders start shouting "Roll! Roll! Roll!" this is absolutely not the best time to turn the aircraft carrier.

I'm not sure if this is it, but in the past I've seen TFs suddenly change direction once the  fields were open clock was started on the event.
This may have been the case last night. I know it gets ugly trying to take off in a crowd from a turning CV, but you do get to jump right back up.

17 did it to
Sorry about 17. I had my squaddies take control of the cvs. He forgot to ask if everyone had taken off. I think there were a few discos near the start as well.

However, later in the frame, people were taking control of the cvs and turning them while others were trying to land or sending them out of the zone they were assigned to. One thing that bothered me was some of these guys would not respond to all the people trying to talk to them. I managed to PM a few and they finaly responded, but it should not have gone that far.

<S> unclkurt. I have to say I was at  mt wits end with communication :x. It was tough keeping track of everything going on, trying answer everyones questions, and my own squads as well LOL. I prefer to aid in communication rather than be the communicator. sqwigly usualy runs the scenario when we are CiC. I hope you all enjoyed the frame. It looks like you guys did a pretty good job!

<<S>> to my friends and to my enemies! well fought! :salute

There was a pre-programmed path for the carriers.  I think it was just coincidence that some turned at T+0.

<S> Bannor.

Years past FSO was a single life event. Period. If you crashed on take off your done. No excuses.
CV's were tricky. One night a CV turned while rolling and we had winds on the deck. Was ugly. A squad of about 16 had 4 that made it in the air. The rest were done.

After that we made change that you can reup if you crash on take off.

The above mentioned squad was mine.

One I remember best was long ago, we were tasked with 38's and one of the guys had a stick glitch where it was reporting bottons as pushed with no input (or so we were told)....anyway he not only mowed down 50%+ of our squad but the majority of the strike package rolling with us :O :noid :rofl :rofl
